Natural Fat Burners

Fat Burner Guide July 31st, 2007

Losing weight is so popular that people often turn to fat burner supplements in order to aid the process. But as the idea of taking a fat burning drug is decidedly unattractive, the masses are now turning towards natural fat burners. Prescription drugs can have side effects as well as requiring expensive and possibly intrusive visits to a doctor, while natural fat burners are freely available for experimentation. Natural fat burners are derived from entirely natural ingredients such as plants or herbs such as green tea extract, citrus, calcium and phosphorous.

Fat burner products are not regulated by governing bodies, which is why the manufacturers do not need to back up their product claims with scientific data. Claims can be made without any proven facts, making these products misleading to say the least. Natural fat burners are not quality controlled and many of these products claim to contain natural ingredients and they do, but just not enough. Natural fat burners can claim to enhance weight loss because of the ingredients they contain, which will raise their selling price, but the percentage of the actual mixture which contains natural ingredients can be quite small. Some natural fat burners are quality products from ethical companies, but due to the amount of products with unsubstantiated, over-the-top claims, it is wisest to thoroughly research into the product before purchase.

Releasing Natural Fat Burners in the Body

The body has natural fat burners, but, due to unhealthy eating habits, they become slower, dysfunctional and even dormant. In order to lose weight again, they need to be kick started into action. By stimulating these functions into peak efficiency once more, weight loss will begin again and the maintenance of a healthy weight will be much easier. The first step is to eat normal amounts, because, when food is restricted, the body fears it is about to starve and self preservation forces it to store fat reserves and shut down the fat burning process. To really lose weight it is far more important to burn more calories than you consume, no matter how much or little amounts you eat.

Stimulating your metabolism speeds up the work of the fat burners in the body. This can happen by eating certain foods as well as exercising. Eating a smaller amount of carbohydrates inevitably forces the body to use up the fat reserves and exercising frequently keeps the metabolism going. Natural fat burners such as citrus fruits and green tea are also beneficial and, combined with alternate exercising along the lines of cardiovascular work like aerobics and toning exercises using gym balls, they go a long way towards reducing the amount of fat in the body.
